April 2021 – Lachauntay Phillips, Nursing Services

Whether she’s at home or serving as a State-Tested Nursing Assistant and Restorative Aide at The Village at Marymount, Lachauntay Phillips puts family first. This mother of three has made it her life’s mission to raise her children to have a strong faith and work ethic.​

Today, Lachauntay also calls her three children – daughters, Tychauna and Ty’aire, and son ,Tyrone – her co-workers. ​

Her children help to prepare meals in the Nutrition Services Department and love working among the Sisters and residents.​

“One of the many things we have all learned from the Sisters is to treat people they way they want to be treated,” Lachauntay said. “We also have compassion for each other as a family as well as for the residents we serve.”
