Hello Village at Marymount Family, Friends, and Staff. This is Sue Nall, the Executive Director.
Today we had a CCU resident test positive for COVID, we tested the 1st and 3rd hallways on the 2nd floor and there were no other positives. We also did some contact tracing testing at Marymount Place and all were negative too.
Our COVID update since March 2020: Villa St. Joseph has 7 Active resident and staff Cases. We had a total of 277 resident or staff cases. Memory Care Assisted Living at Villa St Joseph has 0 active Resident and Staff cases and a cumulative total of 23 cases. Marymount Place has 2 Active Resident or Staff cases and a cumulative total of 64 resident/staff cases.
We will continue testing residents and staff according contact tracing. We will also continue to monitor our residents and staff so we can act quickly should any develop symptoms we are concerned about.
Given the recent COVID + cases, MMP, MCU & 2nd floor- CCU, staff are all in N95s and face shields. Full PPE is required for staff and visitors working with or visiting a COVID positive resident. This means gowns, N95 mask, and face shield. SCU our 1st floor, continue to be in surgical masks.
We will continue to monitor our residents and staff based on contact tracing and act quickly should any develop symptoms we are concerned about.
