Hello Village at Marymount Family & Friends. This is Sue Nall the Executive Director.
We continue to have success keeping the coronavirus out of the building while welcoming visitors back into the building. CMS released guidance today requiring all healthcare workers in settings receiving Medicare or Medicaid funding to get be vaccinated. Staff will need to have the first vaccine by December 5 and the second dose by January 4. We are currently working with our team to assist employees in meeting this requirement.
Most residents and staff with two doses also received the booster in the last few weeks. We are making progress in our efforts to vaccinate as many people on our campus as possible.
The delta variant seems to have plateaued. Ohio’s COVID cases and hospitalizations continue to decline. That said, reporting of deaths related to the delta variant takes time. Some deaths may not appear in federal reports for several months.
We’re less than a month away from Giving Tuesday on November 30. We are raising funds through #WeGiveCatholic. This event features 24 hours of fun and fund-raising hosted by Catholic Community Foundation.
Please help us raise money for our Employee Care Fund. This fund assists employees facing a financial hardship or emergency. Assistance exists to help employees when no other financial resources are available to help cover their expenses. The fund provides resources to cover such basic needs as food, rent, electricity, natural gas, and water service.
Watch our social media platforms for more information about how you can give to this cause and assist our dedicated workers. We greatly appreciate your continued support of our Mission and staff. Thank you!
