Virtual Gala 2020 – Adapting To Ever-Changing Times!

Like most organizations, The Village at Marymount has experienced an overwhelming amount of change in 2020. The coronavirus-19 pandemic has negatively impacted entire countries, companies – large and small, for-profit, and non-profit – and has certainly affected so many people and their families. By holding true to our faith, our Mission, and cloaked under the never-ending prayers of Bishop Roger and our founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis, The Village at Marymount continues to provide the top-notch care and services so desperately needed by so many.

The Village at Marymount is guided by our Mission and we will – once again – put our faith in those who support our campus and share our commitment. We ask for your support to guarantee our ability to carry on.  Please grab your virtual passport and join The Village at Marymount for its first ever Virtual Gala.  Join us as we travel across the globe – visiting and learning about some amazing countries and their cultures. This interactive Virtual Gala will certainly be an event you will not want to miss, as you are immersed into our travels – guided by our Honorary Co-Chairs Mr. Marc Kotora and Mr. Jay Lucarelli.  Our Honorary Co-Chairs will not only guide us long our tour, they will assist with the navigation of the interactive portions of our event – providing plenty of chances to “win” great auction items.

Stay tuned for additional details and information as we prepare for our trip and ensure The Village at Marymount is able to continue to make “Every Mile A Memory”.

Tenth Annual Celebration of Life Gala ‘Masquerade Ball’ Proves Another Success

The Village at Marymount’s 10th Celebration of Life Gala, held September 20 at the Holiday Inn Cleveland South-Independence, was another rousing success, highlighted by the Fund-A-Need request to help our nurses continue their educations through our scholarship program. Part of the Fund-A-Need fun was the Return of the Yeti cooler, which was presented by Darth Vader to the last Fund-A-Need bidder in a fun-filled “competition.” Greg Kurtz was the winning bidder and took home the cooler and two travel mugs, donated by North Coast Auto Restoration and Mr. Steve Frangos.

The Village at Marymount extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to honorary co-chairs, David Doll and Shawn Riley, and to Creative HealthCare Consulting Inc., for being the Presenting Sponsor. Appreciation and thanks also are extended to all of our sponsors, donors, and companies who provided items to the Live and Silent Auctions, and the raffle, and to our Celebration of Life Gala Committee.
