Good afternoon, Village at Marymount Family, Friends, and Staff. This is Sue Nall the Executive Director.
We had an additional Marymount Place staff member test positive for COVID yesterday. We are continuing to monitor all residents & staff for signs and symptoms of COVID and will be testing again next week
Our COVID update since March 2020: Villa St. Joseph has 1 Active staff and or Resident Cases. We had a total of 187 resident or staff cases. Memory Care Assisted Living at Villa St Joseph has 0 active Resident or Staff cases and a cumulative total of 14 cases. Marymount Place has 2 Active Resident or Staff cases — and a cumulative total of 32 resident/staff cases.
Staff will continue to wear N95s and faceshields across the campus. Staff that are up to date with their vaccination- meaning they have received their booster dose will test once a week. Those staff not up to date or with vaccine exemptions will continue to test 2x/week. If you have not gotten your booster dose please get it- it does protect you from severe symptoms and hospitalization.
Just a reminder for visitors our visiting hours at Villa St Joseph are 10:30-8:30p and should you need to visit outside of these times please contact a nursing Supervisor, our Director of Nursing or myself so we can help make other arrangements.
As you are out enjoying the nice weather, cookouts, sporting events, concerts, proms and graduations please be aware COVID around and this variant is very, very contagious. Please distance where you can and wash your hands and wear a mask if you can!
