Hello Village at Marymount Family, Friends and Staff. This is Sue Nall, the Executive Director.

Unfortunately, I need to let you know of another COVID case. This one occurred while the person was in quarantine and we believe the person was exposed prior to being admitted. The person is now in our COVID area.

For our COVID updatesince March 2020: Villa St. Joseph has no (0) Active Staff Cases and two (2) Active Resident Cases. We have a total of 88resident and staff cumulative cases at Villa St. Joseph. MarymountPlace has no Active Resident & Staff Case — and a cumulative total of 11resident or staff cases.

We will continue to test residents and staff on April 12. Based on the results, we will re-evaluate our visitation policy for the Skilled Care Unit and the Rehabilitation Care Unit.

We hope to open visitation for our short-term residents, who are out of their 14-day quarantine, starting on April 12. We must go 14 days without any new cases prior to opening visitations once again.

Should you have questions about visitations, please call and we will be happy to review the visitation regulations. Visitation for the Continuing Care Unit and the Memory Care Unit will continue per our visitation schedules since we have had no cases in these areas.

I cannot emphasize enough the importance of getting the vaccine. We have had no COVID cases among vaccinated residents or staff in the past month or so. Don’t procrastinate, vaccinate.

Finally, please remember the three W’s: wear your mask, wash your hands, and watch your distance.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a good week everyone!
