This unit has been uniquely designed to offer intensive rehabilitation in a boutique-like setting. Our comprehensive interdisciplinary approach includes home evaluations prior to discharge, family member training to emphasize safety and continued care at home, and care-plan meetings with our team to review patient goals, progress, accomplishments and to thoroughly discuss discharge plans. Ten (10) large private rooms, a fully functioning kitchen, laundry room and shower room, along with the appropriate rehabilitation equipment right on the unit, add up to a surprisingly comfortable stay. The wing consists of ten private rooms and optimal space for therapy to occur right on the wing, including: full-functioning kitchen and full-functioning laundry room – important for those occupational therapy sessions. Combine the charm of the unit with the intense clinical and therapeutic services and you have the makings for a speedy and successful recovery.
